This package takes you to the mystical lake of Gosainkunda; you can explore the beautiful Langtang region presenting with Catholic views of Langtang range (7234m), Himalchuli (7893m), Mt. Manaslu (8156m), and Ganesh Himal range (7422m) and even the Annapurna Range on a clear day.
According to myth, the settlement of migrated Tibetan Buddhist Tamang people Langtang valley was an ancient salt trade route between Tibet and Nepal. The valley is the lap of entire gigantic over the 7000 meters mountains with an admiring beautiful landscape and great hospitality. But unfortunately, Valley was terribly destroyed by an earthquake in 2015 April, and many trekkers, local people were influenced. Day 1: Kathmandu
Arrival in the capital Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel in the center of the lively city. In the evening you will meet for a traditional welcome dinner.

Day 2: Kathmandu - Syabrubesi (1500 m) - Khangjim (2235 m)
In the early morning (breakfast package) you leave the Kathmandu valley and drive into the mountains. The view over to the Ganesh Himal and the 8156 m high Manaslu is unique. After about 3 hours of driving, you will reach the Trisuli Valley. Initially tarred and then on a dusty slope, the route leads into the Langtang area. In Syabrubesi (1500 m) the destination is reached and you take a lunch break. Since the original main path along the Langtang-Khola River has been difficult to pass since the earthquake in 2015, you already climb steeply to Khangjim (2235 m) today. This safe alternative route leads over a picturesque high-altitude path with impressive views of the surrounding ice giants

Day 3: Khangjim (2235 m) - Sherpagaon (2563 m) - Lama Hotel (2510 m)
On today's trekking day you have plenty of time to enjoy the high path and its panoramic view of the white peaks of the Gosainkund Range, the massive figure of Paldor (5860 m), and the striking Ganesh Himal. Over the pretty village of Sherpagaon (2563 m) the path leads in steady up and down to Lama Hotel to the original Langtang Trail. In the afternoon, an old landslide area has to be crossed, but hiking trails that have already been created lead purposefully through the area. Overnight in Lama Hotel (Changdam, 2510 m) in a lodge.

Day 4: Lama Hotel (2510 m) - Mundu (3520 m)
You are leaving the forest zone today; Meadows and alpine pastures now determine the landscape. The first hour of hiking leads through landslide areas again, but you soon reach a new bridge that leads to the safe alternative route on the east side of the river LangtangKhola. The open view of LangtangLirung (7227 m) will inspire you. Before reaching your destination for the day, walk through Langtang Village (3430 m). The extent of the enormous natural disaster is particularly clearly visible here. After a final ascent, you reach the little affected village of Mundu (3540 m). From here you can already see the conical TsergoRi (4984 m). Overnight in a very simple lodge or in a tent.

Day 5: Mundu (3520 m) - KyanjinGompa (3830 m)
You continue to hike up the valley, slightly uphill, the Tibetan influence is expressed through the many mani walls and Chortens (Stupas). At noon you will reach KyanjinGompa (3830 m), the last place in the valley where you can spend the night in lodges. In the afternoon visit to the old gompa in the village.

Day 6: Ascent of TsergoRi (4984 m)
Today the highlight of the upper Langtang valley is on the program, the ascent of the TsergoRi (4984 m). Early in the morning, you start on rather easy to master paths to the summit. From there you have a wonderful panoramic view, such as B. on LangtangLirung (7227 m), DorjeLakpa (6966 m), and Ganchenpo (6387 m).(Walking time approx. 8h).

Day 9: Khangjim (2235 m) - Syabrubesi (1500 m) - ThuloSyabru (2250 m)
After breakfast you will descend steeply to Syabrubesi (1500 m). From the old part of the village it goes back up to ThuloSyabru (2250 m). This place is mostly inhabited by the Tamang tribe. Overnight in a lodge.(Walking time approx. 5-6h).

Day 10: ThuloSyabru (2250 m) - Laurebinayak (3950 m)
The climb to Laurebinayak is long and steep, but thanks to the last few days you should be sufficiently fit and acclimatized for it. When you leave the forest zone, you will be amazed by the open view from LangtangLirung to the Annapurna massif! In Laurebinayak (3950 m) - especially from the slightly higher viewpoint - you have a fantastic view over the main Himalayan ridge and, with a bit of luck, even as far as Tibet. Day 11: Laurebinayak (3950 m) - Gosainkund (4430 m)
Today the path leads you into a valley basin in which there are several small mountain lakes. Then you climb up to your destination for the day, the sacred lakes of Gosainkund (4430 m). You will stay in a simple lodge for two nights on the lakeshore. If you want, you can climb the neighboring mountain ridge in the afternoon and enjoy a wonderful view. (Walking time approx. 3-4h).

Day 12: Gosainkund (4430 m) & ascent of Surya Peak (5145 m)
Today is definitely the most spectacular day of your tour. The aspiring summit to Surya Peak (5145 m) start in the dark. The ascent requires surefootedness and good weather. Past the lakes of Gosainkund it goes uphill for about 3-4 hours. The panoramic view from the Everest region in the east to the 8000m Annapurna and Manaslu in the west is indescribable. The ascent of the 5,145 m high summit is certainly the sporting highlight of this tour, but even those who do not want to go up to the summit can experience an unforgettable day in the vicinity of the sacred lakes of Gosainkund. In good weather, the lakes shine in a deep blue color. Once a year, the lakes are also a popular pilgrimage destination for Shiva's followers. Day 13: Gosainkund (4430 m) - Laurebina Pass (4610 m) - Ghopte (3430 m)
In the morning you leave the sacred lakes and hike up to the 4610 m high Laurebina pass. From here the path leads steadily up and down the valley back to the Kathmandu valley. From the pass it's almost 1000 meters downhill to Phedi (3730 m). After lunch you will reach the wooded area again and walk past small waterfalls and rhododendrons to Ghopte (3430 m). Here you have an excellent view of the forested mountain ranges around Kathmandu. In the afternoon and on the following two days of hiking in particular, concentration, stamina and surefootedness are required again, as numerous old landslides and rockfalls have to be crossed. Day 14: Trek Ghopte to Maghingoth (3390m, 6 hrs)
Our path today leads us on through a rolling forested landscape decked in rhododendron and pine, with the sound of numerous streams scything through the woodland giving us a pleasant soundtrack to our easy journey. Our day's highlight is the visit to Thadepati and its picturesque outlook atop a ridge, after which we descend through more dense woodland to Maghingoth.

Day 15: Trek Maghingoth to Kutumsang (2470m)
A pleasant hike takes us steadily downhill and across a series of stream crossings, with rhododendron and pine forests enveloping us as we make our way through the moist temperate forests of the lower valley to the village of Kutumsang. , 4-5 hrs

Day 16: rek Kutumsang to Chisapani (2215m, 7 hrs)
The day begins along a steadily ascending trail through the emerald green hills of the Helambu region until we reach the ridgeline over Gul Bhanjyang. From there we hike to Thodang and Chipling, and then descend into more rhododendron and oak forests to Chisapani, a hill station famed for its sunrise views towards the snow-capped mountains in the west.

Day 17: Trek Chisapani to Sundarijal then drive an hour to Kathmandu.
Our last day of hiking takes us through more dense woodlands and an easy stroll through the peaceful Mulkharka valley. Our descent through the valley provides us with wonderful views of the entire Kathmandu valley as we steadily make our way down to our final destination of Sundarijal. From there a short bus ride takes us back to Kathmandu, where we can relax and celebrate the end of a highly rewarding trek.
